Music Ministry
The Levites are to be ready, prepared and available for service unto the Lord (Numbers 18:14) The name Levi is derived from the words "he shall accompany". Our Music Ministry (Musicians, Praise and Worship) understand the importance of their role as leaders “to apply their physical and spiritual strength to the fulfillment of God's will and gain forever the role of God's trusted servants” to prepare the atmosphere for the MOVE and will of the Holy Spirit in the House of
God during EVERY service, program and/or activity.
Our Story
DMHC Music Ministry was founded and developed by the late Minister Larry Jones. He began
the ministry playing the keyboard, while son, Hezekiah Dupree played the drums. From the onset the pair had chemistry that helped to set the atmosphere for deliverance. Over the years under Minister Jones mentorship in the music ministry has developed and matured into a flow under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Min. Larry recruited and poured into young musicians, who are now thriving in the ministry. Our talented musicians exemplify humility, faithfulness and servitude.
Our Minister of Music, Bro. Wanya Atkinson has taken the torch and continues to uphold the
high standards, ethics and fire that is representative of the ministry. There is a sound produced in
the ministry which resonates in the heart of man to worship and praise the Living God.
